Samsung SCH W999 has now been officially released and will be marketed. Samsung do a new step by starting to market the first Android phone clamshell. Samsung SCH W999 released by China Telecom operator.
Samsung SCH W999 comes with two SIM card slots and dual connectivity modes, that is GSM and CDMA2000, like other mobile phones that issued by China Telecom, but still added with the support of 5 bands as global phone.
Samsung SCH W999 uses a clamshell design and runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system with TouchWiz, HyperSkin rear cover, and powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon MSM8660 to give maximum speed. This phone uses the dual screen technology. Both display inside and outside have 3.5 inches size with a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels, Super AMOLED type, and displays the full menu Android interface.
Another interesting feature, Samsung SCH W999 is equipped with a 5MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi. This phone is running well on GSM and CDMA 2000, with 3G when on the EVDO network. It seems that for the price of this phone is likely to be expensive. Samsung SCH W999 will be marketed by China Telecom in early 2012.
